ITE (intertribal entertainment) is a production studio managed by the Southern California Indian Center Inc.  This program was developed to prepare participants for gainful employment in the entertainment industry.  It is designed specifically for outreach to American Indians; as well as create job linkages and entrepreneurial opportunities for American Indians within the Hollywood film and Television industry.

We utilize professional tools of the industry for all our projects including the latest, state-of-the-art, digital audio/video hardware and software.  With the proper tools and skills, we can tell our story by documenting our elders; preserving our languages; educating our youth; promoting Native talent; enabling entrepreneurial endeavors into film and audio production.

The Creative Spirit “Script-to-Screen” Initiative is an endeavor of ITE to identify, train, produce & promote the work of Native American Talent in Hollywood.  We are looking for short script submissions (8-12 pages) from all new, emerging and established American Indian, Alaskan Native and Hawaiian writers over the age of 18 from the United States.  Submission deadline is June 17th, 2008.
